SAN FRANSISCO DENIM

These denims are an old pair of Levi’s 501s from my younger brother — once too long for him, so he cut them short. The leather patches are a mix of hides I collected during my university days in Paris, when Hermès had donated remnants to the school.

Some of the patches are sewn inside out, to let the suede shimmer softly against the light. The fabric patches are a collage of stories — pieces found in old tailor shops I visit regularly, and one, a leftover fragment from an idea of last season.

On the back, our iconic COLRS logo is embroidered across the classic Levi’s paper tag. Inside, along the waistband, rests the label for this season: “COLRS JUMPING FENCES.”
