CRAYON SHORTS
Over several weeks, Zec worked directly onto the fabric, drawing from all angles and in motion, allowing the surface to absorb moments rather than compositions. Crayons and acrylics bled into the cotton, smudging and layering through wear, friction, and touch — turning the shorts into a living record of experience.
The artwork reflects the rhythms of Brazil: the dense, overlapping energy of São Paulo, and the fluid tension between mountains, ocean, and city in Rio de Janeiro.
Lines twist, collide, and drift — mirroring the freedom of movement and the spontaneity of travel.
Finished with a clean yellow silk band along the hems, the shorts balance playfulness with intention. They remain unmistakably part of the Cron Suit — tailored in spirit, expressive in surface, and designed to carry memory with every step.
